Was reading through CLEO the other day and saw this product that i wanted to try.

Happened to go out with ms shoot on the very next day and so i got it!

Its a moisturizing hairspray, supposedly being able to get rid of the anti-frizz ends of mine and to reduce the pong-ness of my hair.

Its pretty good (nice fragrance too)!

Works as described but just not so for my ends.

We actually also saw the hair cocktail (serum) – which was advertised too - but decided to try the spray first.

Few days later, I bought it!

2 concoctions inside. So shake well before using.

It works very well for my frizzy ends.

This is the light version. The other 1 – orange in colour is normal, i suppose.

These products are really good. Not only do they smell nice (raspberry and peach respectively), works well and most importantly, they are not oily!

Thats the most important point.

The previous brand that i used is like way too oily.

Dont apply, cannot.

Apply liao scared too oily.

Haha.

The spray (and serum) can be used on dry or wet hair (apply as needed) but the spray bottle is way too big to bring out leh.

So clever me i thought of a solution!

Tada!

Like that can fit into my bag liao!

Ok la, my bags are always big and empty enough to put.

But heavy la.

Haha!

Maybe they can have a small version one ah?

Cuter and better leh!

Pre-CNY

In preparation for this coming new year, i had a spring cleaning session!

It took me 4 hours to throw rubbish away, clean up, pack and arrange my things neatly.

So neat now!

No, actually its neater now.

Normally also very neat, just that certain things gets misplaced when im plain lazy.

Mum always says that bro room is so much neater compared to mine.

I always tell her not fair.

Cannot make comparisons like that.

Mine has so so so so so so so so so  much more stuffs compared to his.

Hah!

Feels totally different though visually its almost the same.

Because i know i clean every nook, corner and surface of my room (with dettol somemore) so i get a ‘bling bling bling’ feeling whenever i step into it.

Dust-free!

I think i lost about 100kg of sweat that 4 hours.

Maybe i should do that every week =X

Was spring cleaning half way when i saw this:

It reminded me of the friendship that no longer exists.

It was given to me on one of my birthday, with everything handmade.

Looking at the bottle, i felt touched and can visualise how they made the flowers one by one before sticking them onto the surface.

Took days for them to do it if i never remember wrongly.

Can see that they put their hearts and souls into making it.

A pity that it ended like this.

Nevertheless, i will still continue keeping it as an ornament on my display shelf.

Few days later, mum and i went to TM + PW to get stuffs for the household.

Bought new bedsheets for like 5 beds + 2 new pillows?!

Carry until we 2 im about to go mad.

Next time i’ll drag bro along with us.

Bought new year candies, cosmetics, clothes, bags and almost everything that is needed for the new year.

I did a very stupid thing lor.

I wanted to buy bras right, so i took down the code. Then i walked over to the department and just asked the first auntie i saw there.

Turns out shes the promoter for another brand!

Super embarrassed!

My niang yet again so happy.

Look at all the stuffs we bought home.

Next time must drag dad and bro there liao.

Haha!

And oh!

I found something which is so good!

Good hor?

Saves a lot of space leh!

Ok, im gonna have an abrupt ending here.

Bro went to school to fetch me yesterday.

Or rather, i forced him to.

Haha.

Hes at HP centre mah so just nice.

Saved loads of $$$!

But i think he regretted the decision the moment i stepped into it.

We practically ‘quarrelled’ the whole journey home (which is like an hr plus since we detoured to aljunied).

Haha.

Debated on lots of issues.

And because he felt that i yakked too much, he started singing songs to entertain me.

He used all sort of funny voices to sing those songs.

Super funny la my bro.

Though he loves irritating me at times.

He super camera shy.

Dinner yesterday was strange. Didnt felt the same. I rather it was as usual. Hope it will be the next year.

Dinner today, on the other hand, was much better than i expected. Though still a little out of place but really much better compared to the past.

I think i still love/enjoy tomorrow’s dinner the best as always.

Macau Trip (Day 6)

Today is going home day!

In the morning, we had breakfast in the dim sum restaurant in the casino.

Very nice dim sum!

Previous times while we went there, i always thought camera is not allowed in casino so couldnt take pictures of the food.

But this time i did!

Just dont take the casino can liao ma.

Haha.

At first took without flash, not nice. So i flashed the other 2.

We had porridge, chee cheong fun, xiao long baos, char siew paos among many others.

Really very nice fod there.

Must go try!

With much reluctance, we went to take the shuttle bus to the airport around 2 plus.

Look, the runway with a plane!

At first, when we first arrived, i looked out of the window when the plane is descending. Then i asked myself, why is the pilot landing and coming so close to the sea?! Yuan lai is because the runway is surrounded by the sea la.

Haha.

Had lunch there!

Sandwich + salad + ribena!

So healthy hor?

Hohoho!

PS: But we always try to have a heavy meal before going to the airport. Leave it to you to figure out what i mean. Heehee.

Thats the plane we flew home in.

We took pictures with it too!

But the photos arent with me.

Mum purposely booked the emergency seats for all of us this time round.

See, so spacious!

I can even cross my legs leh!

Was super tired, so much so that i fell asleep even before the plane took off!

Haha. But woke up soon after.

The flight back super happening leh.

2 guys quarelled until the stewardess asked if they want the captain to make a police report.

*On a seperate note: After trying on different budget airlines, i think the crew of this particular airline, ***s***, very unprofessional.*

Ok, thats the end of my 6D5N Genting + Macau trip!

Macau Trip (Day 5)

Because of the super yummy supper last night, we decided to have it for breakfast again!

 

The toasts and pastries that everyone raved about.

The cranberry juice is really nice!

We are going to Da San Ba today!

While waiting for the lift:

Went to shop around first.

See my 娘 so happy?

After which we began the task of walking up the slope to St Paul’s.

No sweat (pun intended)!

Haha!

Dont see quite sunny, quite cold leh.

On the way there, saw that it was 14 degrees.

Halfway up, we saw a stall selling the famous pork bun.

Dad wanted to try so we went but instead, we stopped at the stall next to it.

Theres a crowd there and being typical singaporeans, we are curious!

Alas, forgot the name of the biscuits already.

But we pronounced it wrongly and uncle corrected us.

Hiaks.

See the uncle and auntie so sweet la, working together.

现做现卖.

I think uncle worked very hard and bent over the stove for many years le, until he hunch back.

Not fanciful looking but tastes great!

Tastes like kueh buang cake. Those white colour cookies that melts in your mouth?

We had it pipping hot too!

And, we reached St Paul’s!

Clear blue sky literally.

And of course, when you are there, buying 土产 is a must!

Along the row of shops, there are many selling, but there are only 2 in which you can find the shops really bursting at its seams with human crowd.

The one that we always buy from is the one nearest to St Paul’s.

Really a lot of people.

Inside the shop and outside.

Went to the wildlife park! This is the nearest my local guide allowed me to stand and take photo.

Haha!

We went over to walk walk.

Look at the list of shops there.

Dinner was at food court and i ate exactly the same no.9 korean item + my bubble tea.

Haha.

And see what i saw on the menu board while queuing for my drink?

随便.

So cute.

Creative eh?

Haha.

And because of all the walk earlier in the day, we were famished again later that night!

So supper again!

Wahaha.

We can really eat.

This time round, we ordered so much that one table also not enough to put.

Haha.

Cause last night liao ma.

So eat lor.

Heh heh.

Sadded though, cause its time to go home tomorrow!

Macau Trip (Day 4)

 

Bro and Aunty Adeline took a super early morning flight here and met us straight at the hotel.

And we had to move room. Cause toilet got problem.

Wah.

Imagine packing everything that u had taken out.

Those minor minor things like shampoo, soap, toothpaste, facial stuffs etc.

Camwhoring in the hotel before we left for dinner:

Theres a golf course view from our room!

Venetian is really huge.

I think im really strange. Indoors wear like that. Outdoors also wear like that.

But indoor temperature not equals to outdoor temperature =.=’

On the way to dinner:

Imagine going for the skywalk/bungee jump now!

Sunset!

I meant to take the  beautiful bridges that they have, then i saw the sunset, then i saw the nice sky.

Dinner was at where we had steamboat the other time.

But we called dishes this time round.

Must try the yi(4) pin(3) wo(1) and lai(4) niao(4) xia(1). Super nice.

I didnt try the ‘escargots’ though.

Heh.

After dinner, we went to almost all casinos to look look see see.

I brought my driving license with me this time round. Cause dont want be denied entry like the last time!

Haha!

Didnt manage to use it leh =X

The casinos there really beautiful and colourful.

Winter got fire somemore.

Alas, tried to brighten this pic. But this is the best liao.

Some roads in macau can be very narrow. Think i wont dare to drive there.

Nono.

I can drive on the wider roads.

Really narrow. Imagine having to navigate through a one way street with cars parked by the side.

Haha.

Anyway, apart from the musical display, Wynn also has an indoor ‘colourful tree’!

When these 2 covers opened, i really went wow-ing man.

We brought a video-cam with us this time round!

I video-ed the process but havent uploaded it onto my lappy yet.

Of all casinos, all of us still preferred Venetian’s.

More spacious, less smoky.

After all the walking, hungry leh!

So we ordered room service!

They will come and set the table up for you.

Food is superbly nice.

They are very thoughtful too!

Like the wanton mee right, they seperate the soup and noodles leh, so that the noodles wont turn soggy on the way here.

The ice cream, they put the glass in the entire jar filled with ice cubes.

And we were still wondering if it will melt on the way here.

Heh.

Everyone loved the pastries.

I didnt try it though.

The mini bottles of ketchup and mustard are super cute la.

Anyway its really a sumptuous supper!

Yummy!

Macau Trip (Day 3)

Today we are going to Macau!

Haha.

Anyway i didnt sleep much the night before so i managed to capture a beautiful sunrise!

Watched the whole process of how the salted egg yolk came up.

Judging from my sleeping habits, think it will be the last time liao, unless i suffer from insomnia again =X

Once again, we took the cars down to LCCT aka Malaysia’s Budget Terminal, to board on AirAsia.

All of us didnt have breakfast, afraid that will feel uncomfortable.

True enough, i felt super nauseous during the first 30 mintues of the ride, especially when it was going down the slope in circles.

Haha.

Anyway, reached LCCT pretty soon but i dont want to go into details about it because pretty bad experience there lor.

The worse being no aircon + no fan.

Luckily i have my mini fan with me for emergencies.

But work halfway battery died.

I didnt change the batteries after the thailand trip.

Lunch onboard!

Reached macau in the evening and took the shuttle bus to our hotel, The Venetian.

When the stewardess opened the cabin door, can feel the cold air floating in.

Super shiok sia the weather.

I like!

We found out that the sofa in the room can be converted into a sofa bed!

After settling down, went for dinner and as usual, i ate No. 9 of the korean stall menu + the special bubble tea!

Dad went to ask about the countdown spots and we decided to go to the 1 at Fisherman’s Wharf!

Alot alot alot alot alot of people.

So much so that we didnt want to squeeze in towards the stage and decided to stay outside and watch the stage from the big screen tv:

Happy New Year!

Alas, at the stroke of midnight, my aunt fell down. 2 kids rushed from behind and knocked her down. All of us didnt know until dad exclaimed that she fell, because we were all taking photos at that time. Blood seeped through her hands la and i thought she broke her tooth. Actually what she got was a cut on her upper eyelid and a nasty bump.

The kids just said sorry and went off. Never bothered to help her up =.=’

After we dealt with the wound and made sure she is ok, we went around to take pictures.

They still have the xmas decorations there!

This is the problem of having 2 cameras in front. Dont know where to look. Obviously this pic is not from my camera la.

Haha.

Im so loving the weather. Its really cold and nice. But i dont like the windy-ness of it la.

Genting Trip (Day 2)

Slept in late and went for buffet lunch at Resort Cafe.

Actually going on a trip pretty mao dun right.

If you spend time on sleeping, then its like a waste of money.

However, if you wake up super early, go to this place and that and only return to the hotel late at night, you will only make yourselve super tired.

Which, defeats the purpose of relaxing on a holiday.

Its like going on a war.

Haa.

No la, actually i think it all depends on the individual, whether they want to sleep and recharge, laze beside a pool or sight-see and shop all the way.

For me, i both also want!

LOL.

Im greedy la.

Ok, back to the buffet lunch.

Not too bad, but i think ala carte better.

However, i love their mashed potatoes alot!

I took quite a number of times, so much so that i too pai seh to go for some more helpings.

Then while i was waiting for my vegetables, i see the chef  not there, i faster go and take!

Haha.

Pai seh la.

But it was really done the way i like.

They stir-fry vege (nice!) for u on the spot too! Choose what u want, then pass it to the chef.

After lunch, cheryl and i went to first world to catch a movie.

Didnt go theme park this time round.

Parents were afraid that i may get first degree burns this time round, on top of my unrecovered ones.

While waiting, we took a walk outside.

Cool hor this lady. Dont need to wear protective gear and caught bees bare-handed.

Watched Bedtime Stories.

Wah its super hilarious and nice. I love adam sandler!

And i kept thinking why he ate guNballs.

Yuan lai is guMballs.

Laugh at me.

Haha.

After that, shop awhile and took photos at first world.

Wanted to buy BS products. But its more expensive compared to here.

Not wanting to overload our lugguages, we decided to shop at macau and so off we went for dinner at:

Our favourite.

And their red plate is our $3.

Argh.

How i wish they have branches here.

They have varieties that we dont have.

After dinner, we went to play on the game stalls (tikkum stalls)!

Im kinda lucky leh, managed to get 2 medium prizes and 1 small prize.

Then we spotted neoprint machines!

Took lots of it.

Really alot la.

The machines should allow more time for us to adjust and pose leh. Some of the shots werent that nice cause theres not enough time.

Had alot of fun designing the photos. Were clueless at first but got the hang of it later on. I think we stood there and spent about an hour or more leh.

Haha.

But hor, we sort of miscalculated the amount, we got confused about the credits thingy and in the end its like S$17 per time leh.

We took 3 times.

LOL.

I dont know about the usual rates cause the last neoprint i took is like 100 years ago.

But i thought $17 for a neoprint, kinda ex la hor?

Hee.

Nevermind, the process fun can liao!

And its not as if we do it everyday la.

After everything, we then went back to the hotel to pack!

Its time to go to the cold cold macau tomorrow!

Genting Trip (Day 1)

This is a 6D5N trip to Genting and Macau.

We took a morning flight to KL.

One thing i didnt like about AirAsia is that they never allocate seat number for you. Other than that, the seat is pretty comfy compared to the other budget airlines.

This time round, instead of staying over at First World, we stayed at the Resort Hotel.

At the KL airport, 2 cars came to fetch us up to the hotel and the ride up is about 1.5hr.

Genting is super cold. The moment i got out from the car, my teeth chattered leh. It is that cold.

I wow-ed when i saw the hotel.

So pretty after all the renovations!

Been long since i last stayed there.

Hotel room even more wow-ed.

A complete makeover!

Became super class.

I used to hate their bathrooms. Theres only 1 shower head thats attached to the wall and a hook for your clothes. Your changing clothes will always get wet after bathing if you hang them inside.

Now Resort nicer than First World liao. 

Got pros and cons la staying at either hotels. After a shopping trip when you have to carry all the bags back to the resort hotel (which is not a short journey), you will start to wish that you are staying at first world. Just take the elevator and you are up back into your room. But as i’ve said, the Resort’s room (especially bathroom) is now much more comfortable than First World.

Went to the Resort Cafe for late lunch.

Love how they arrange the glasses and fruits. Its super lovely when you see it in full view.

Then its shopping time!

2 hours later.

I love PDI leh, they have super huge sizes of footwear for people like me. Up to size 10 leh! Certain tops that they have can fit me too! Voir is another shop that i like because i managed to get tops there.

Hiaks.

 

Since we had late lunch, the 8 of us just shared some noodles and lazed aorund in the room.

The ee-fu noodles is from Causeway Bay, super nice. But their wanton soup not nice. The wanton’s filling tasted strange.

We watched Anacondas too!

LOL.

Cheryl and i finally caught the whole show.

When we came by 3 weeks ago, we either missed the starting or the ending.

LOL.

That marks the end of day 1!
