Meet Ups

Well oh well! Im feeling much better already! Haha, so to further elevate my happy feelings, i shall do a post on all my meet ups with my darh-lings for the past 2 weeks.

1) 20-07-2008

Its a sandwich cum roast chicken cum fruits (fondue) cum ice-cream buffet! We have sandwich flavours like scrambled eggs, tuna, baked beans and nutella. And i found out something. I dont have to stand sweating over the stove while waiting for my chocolates to melt (when im trying to self-do a fondue). The best option available next is nutella! Tastes as delicious! Just that its not that watery as its supposed to be. After all that stomach activities, its time for brain activities – Scrabble, which i havent touched on for a very long time.

2) 22-07-2008

Met up with ms shoot for dinner at Coffee Club at Millenia Walk. Very nice environment there and so not crowded at all. Had strawberry soda pop or something and my favourite slipper lobster linguine. After that, headed over to Changing Appetite for dessert. I decided that i prefer cookie monster mudpie over frankenstein mudpie already.

3) 23-07-2008

Butts came over for dinner. We were all like – finally. Because we’ve been saying it since i moved and only doing it today. LOL.

There is this photo of us taken in year 2003 (graduation day) which i put on display on my shelf.

PS: Btw butts, it was there 5 years ago when i first moved right in, ok. HAHAHA.

There - this is us, year 2003. Photo still well preserved in the photoframe.

And so, we decided to do a year 2008 (exact similar poses) one. Took alot of attempts to do it. Poses not right, hands being blocked and so on. But we were so satisfied with the final one.

 

This is one of the first few taken. Saw the orb spot of light behind? We freaked out while trying to find out what it was. I thought it was a moon at first =X

Then we decided to take another one to see if the same thing is happening.

Nothing =X

Anyways, the picture below is the final one that we liked and is the perfect replica of the one in 2003.

Year 2008.

Im going to buy another photoframe and place it beside the 2003 one =)

I dont take alcohol (cause i dont really like it and i drive) but these smell sweet, nice and fruity. Maybe i can try some next time.

Its mahjong time! We only know how to play the basics. LOL.

We are perfect candidates for cam-whoring! LOL.

Met up with Helena again! Went to Sakae but i didnt take the photos of the sushi (is the plural of sushi ’sushis’?).

But i did take the soup!

Yes, its gossipy time again! LOL. We also talked about taking a picture together but forgot all about it until she messaged me about it after we reached home. Haha.

Met up with Aiqi, Wenru, Jeremiah, Winston, Dixon and Vanessa for lunchie at Paragon at Spageddies.

We shared pizzas, salad and pastas! Damn nice pizzas they have there. Must try!

Its a shopping day! Met up with Xiao Leng(3) aka Small Cold at Parkway. Because of a miscommunication, we reached there starving and felt like we could eat a horse. No, horses. LOL. We settled for Jack’s Place! 

So we went round (its really round) the whole shopping centre, itching to spend money. And im the one who spent the most lor hor Small Cold? LOL.

My most expensive buys of the day:

250GB harddisk. Costs me $100 plus (on the higher end). Its a beauty! Super slim somemore. My current 40GB one is triple its size.

Clinique facial products ($141 for all 3). I think they can actually last pretty long. Was told by the lady that the moisturizer can last me 6 months. I’ll tell you if it does after 5 months and 3 weeks ya? LOL.

You sit there and the person will ask you a series of questions. After all are asked, she gives you the combination most suitable for your skin. I have an oily T-Zone, but dehydrated cheeks.

Till date, have been using it for about a week already and i must say it really works well for me! Too long for me to go into how good it was compared to what i was using and blah blah but can feel the difference la.

Free gifts! Pretty pouch isnt it? (Actually we were attracted to the pouch first, before the products =X) We’re crazy over pretty pouches!

Everywhere we went, especially in Jack’s Place and Isetan, we were talking and laughing so loudly that i think people think we are mad.

Anyway, we really really walked alot that day. Sore back and legs at the end of it. Not to mention my good auntie was here to add on more of it =X

Its also my maid’s birthday that day! So we bought her a cake!

   

Very nice cake. Just that i dont like the raisins in it at all.

Its crabbing session with butt again! But because we were both feeling bloated caused by the you-know-what, we forced ourselves tried to finish up everything that we’ve ordered.

You tiao with fish fillings, sweet and sour fish and salad prawns! Yum!

Went fot lunch at Marina’s.

I so damn missed my hot and cold ramen.

Woolala!

The last picture you see, is something that i’ve always wanted to order when i go there but it has beef in it. I can eat beef (outside of home only) but i’ve never really touched beef ever before, since i was young. The last time i went, we requested for it to be without beef, but we were turned down. We decided to try and order this time round and yeah, we got it without beef. I was right – it was super nice!

After that is dessert at Cafe Cartel!

8 scoops of ice-cream with cookies.

I flew up to the sky after eating this. LOL.

My face is glowing right? Haha later people say i ‘dont want face’ for typing that sentence so i better cancel it. But seriously i think its really better compared to the past. By the way, those white spots on my face is the result of flashlight from my camera la =X Oh and i think its time to do something to my hair, its getting a little unkempt.

I finally bought a photo album and photoframe today to keep all my hot from the oven freshly developed photos.

Hahaha!

I have super good memory right? Can remember the dates and so on as far back as 2 weeks ago.

Ok la, its just that my camera had dates on the pictures =X

Also, the end result of doing this post is - leaving me hungry in the middle of the night.

LOL.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself on the meet ups leh!

And i’ve got 3 more coming right up next week.

Cant wait!
